I used to like to explain this one away as something I did one night when I was stood up on a date. But then I decided that that was boring and all y'all out there wouldn't want to hear about how much of a loser I am (well, was).
I had wanted to do an abstract screen that would involve not only my typical pen work, but also some brush strokes, and whatever else I cared to drag across the page. But when creating these screens (by hand, as I do) I need to copy the image (by hand, as I do) onto a sheet of clear plastic so that the screen can be exposed. I knew that whatever I created on paper would never end up looking exactly the same on the acetate, so I came up with a rough outline of the shapes and proportions that I wanted. Then, laying the acetate over this quick drawing (by hand, as I do), I went to work splashing and scraping watery ink over the non-absorbent, synthetic film. And eventually I worked it into the print that you see here.
The t-shirts are printed on American Apparel shirts, silk-screened (by hand) using water-based inks. They are available in sizes ranging from XS-XXXL in various Men’s and Women’s styles. If you'd like a little bit more information on the styles, you can go here. Or if you just need a sizing chart,

At the moment, the shirts get printed on demand (it's expensive to maintain an inventory when you try to have so many options available). As a result, some orders may take a little bit longer to fill while we try to bolster our inventory.
