The Story of the Armadillo:
On a cross-country trip, a friend and I stopped at a truck stop in Texas. I was overwhelmed by the tackiness of nicknacks featured there. All sorts of dolls and souvenirs, plush neon tigers and the like. The line on the shirt is a direct quote of what I said to my friend when I first laid my eyes on a display full of real live, killed, stuffed armadillos, all dressed in little plastic cowboy outfits. Yay for Capitalism. Yay for Texas. Yay for people who will kill a whole mess of animals just so they can play dress-up. Now, you too can play dress-up with your very own ‘So that’s what and Armadillo looks like...’ T-shirt.
The t-shirts are printed on American Apparel shirts, silk-screened (by hand) using water-based inks. They are available in sizes ranging from XS-XXXL in various Men’s and Women’s styles. If you'd like a little bit more information on the styles, you can go here. Or if you just need a sizing chart,
you can visit this page.
At the moment, the shirts get printed on demand (it's expensive to maintain an inventory when you try to have so many options available). As a result, some orders may take a little bit longer to fill while we try to bolster our inventory.
If you have questions about how long the process will take before you go and place an order, you can use this contact form.
